At the area of the local community Mejdan, in the southern part of Tuzla, there is Romani settlement “Mosnicki potok”, some 1.5 km from the city centre.
The available data shows that there are some 10 residents living in this community, making up three households.
The families have three children and they are all in school.
The data on employment and other sources of income for these families were not available to us.
All of the families have housing and own houses.
Husein Biberovic, representative of the community, emphasised that the residents of this settlement are not faced with any significant problems, apart from those faced by all Romani people, which is inability to find jobs and acquire health protection.
